First Method:

1. In order to switch off the cell phone, use the Power key.
2. The hold down the Volume Down + Power button together for a couple of seconds.
3. When the LG logo is displayed, let go of the Power key, keep pressing the Volume Down and then press once more the Power button.
4. Afterwards you should see a factory reset menu on your screen.
5. Confirm processby choosing appropriate options using Volume rockers to navigate and Power button to confirm.
6. Now your phone should restart.
7. Success! The hard reset has just been completed.

Second Method:

1. If the display is off hold down the Power button to turn it back on.
2. Afterwards go to Settings.
3. Select General and then Backup & reset.
4. In the next step tap Reset Phone.
5. Choose Erase Everything if you are sure you want to clear all your data.
6. Select OK to confirm the whole operation.
7. Well done!

How to Update LG L1 to Latest Firmware:

1. On the computer, launch LGMobile Support Tool.
2. Connect the phone to the computer using the USB cable.
3. You'll be prompted if an update is available. Click Start Updating.
4. Read the warning and click Yes.
5. The update process will now begin.
6. The software will be downloaded to the computer.
7. Wait while the software is installed on the phone.
   Note: Do not disconnect the USB cable from the phone during this process.
8. The update is complete. Click Exit and Disconnect the phone.

Preparation:

• Make sure your phone battery is charged to 70% or more
• Enable USB Debugging, by open Settings > Developers Option > USB Debugging
  If Developers Option is hidden, go to Settings > General > About phone > Common > Software info (tap on it for 5-8 times)
  
• Download and Install the LG USB Driver on the PC
  
• Download and extract the LG One ClickRoot
• If the file above does not work, please download LG One Click Root 1.3

One Click Script to Root LG L1 H443:

• Connect your device with computer
• Run One Click Script by double-clicking the LG Root Script.bat file
• This will open a command window. Follow the instructions.

  

• Wait until the root process is complete.
• If the SuperSU App exist on your Application Menu on your smartphone it means you’ve succesfully rooted your device.

Caution!
If the phone not recognize, try to switch between MTP and PTP options.
If you got “MSVCR100.dll is missing” error, install Visual C++ Redistributable.
