Samsung CDMA Bad Esn to Europe GSM - Help

Hi, i've been reading a lot and i'm still newbie on these matters so i hope someone can help me clarifying something.

is it possible for a Samsung CDMA Bad Esn from USA, no matter what carrier, be used on a GSM network in Europe by unlocking it?(imagine it supports GSM ofc) does this apply to any brand?
