How to backup/restore the baseband or radio

As twrp doesnt backup or restore the baseband is there any other way of doing this? i want to switch over to gpe to test out android M. but wouldnt be able to restore my baseband if i want to go back with my twrp backup.

baseband im trying to find is 1.25.214500021.06G_20.68.4196t.01_F

is their anyway of ripping this out of the 4.16.401.13 ruu?
