iPhone 5s dropped in water, used rice, no luck

Hello,

My daughter dropped her iPhone 5s in a toilet but quickly pulled it out. We then removed the case, pulled the sim card and put the phone in a bag of rice and let it sit for roughly 36 hours. I just reinstalled the sim, let it charge for a while and it's just dead. Won't power up.

Any thing else I can try short of trying to take the phone apart?
